Dye lot lies

This yarn was bought years ago. I mean years like I was potty training years ago (not counting MJ of course). I knew about dye lots and always made sure that they always matched. Today I am less fanatic about it. Well I started this project about 4 years ago and while I just finished it and was getting ready to take pictures I notice this very distinct line. Yep it is right where I changed yarn balls. It seems two balls were different even though there labels were the same.it is much more noticeable in real life btw.

Sock update

I just finished the heel decreases. Now it's just the foot then toe and sock 1 will be done

New travel project

The Lonely Tree Shawl is done. It just needs to be blocked but with it being so humid it would take forever to dry so it's waiting for now. The new project is socks. They might turn into a gift so hence the sepia picture. I am using Socks That Rock heavyweight and the micro monkey chart. Basically making up the pattern as I knit

When it's hot and humid like this

Only thing to do it sit in front of a fan with lots if water and sew. Picture is in black and white just in case the person it is for sees it. She visits on e and awhile. Stay cool
