That bulky hat did not work out so re-do. I am now knitting a shawl/scarf. 

Not much to see since it's all bunched up. I am at the end of ball one and went to get ball 2. Slight problem

This looks nothing like ball one even though they are labelled the same. I just ordered another ball so maybe it will match one of the two I have. While I wait its arrival I am starting something else.

Family no freaking out okay

2nd. I grew up in Rockland county NY. Yes there are animals around I get that no biggie. 

So checking for poison ivy (I think I got it all) I kept coming across this scat (nice word for poop). It wasn't deer it was a carnivore. Well yesterday we got a reverse 911 call for a black bear in the area. It's the lovely time of year where juveniles get kicked out. 

So I took a picture

Seems like besides deer and raccoons we have black bear in our yard too

Little guy wore himself out (this is at dinner)

And new knitting. Extra bulky yarn =almost instant hat

Good reason for radio silence

We moved. Lots of packing then moving and painting then unpacking (still working on that one). No more Long Island, no more LIE no more a bunch of things

Hello more room. Hello yard. Hello really nice neighbors. Hello closer to family. 

It's a new start for all of us.
