Fall(?) knitting

So here I sit waiting to pick up my kids. It's November. You look out the window it looks like a damp cold fall day. Nope. It's 72 degrees out. Go figure

Maybe a little change

It's been in the upper 70s here until today so maybe next week the leaves will really show a change. Heck tomorrow isn't even going to get out of the 50's and where I'm going it'll be only in the 40's. College visit for Kris upstate NY. Just the two of us and lots of trees and farmland :)
(And hopefully my migraine will stay home)

Much better

So I restarted the hat on smaller needles and it's much better not so loose. And this is what the mountain looks like. Picture was taken Tuesday. Still pretty green. Though I went over the mountain today and it looks like some of the trees got the message

Started and frogged

Well started this hat and I really don't like how it's coming along so off to the frog pond it goes.

So

I was reading that October 8 th is supposed to be the peak time for the leaves to change. Today is September 26 and it's currently 82 degrees and humid (seriously it's like breathing water). So the question is will 2 weeks be enough time?

This is the view of the mountain from my block and it looks pretty green to me. So we will see

You can take it with you to these lovely school events. Meet the teacher night. Same thing every year.....

My little mj is off to first grade

Dillon is off to his senior year. Kris is a junior. Honestly it was too quiet today. I missed my babies 

The first one is off

My Ang is now a freshman in HS (in our school freshman go in at regular time for orientation and everyone else has a two hour delay). I now have 3(!!!!!) in HS.

Car knitting

Just a little knitting I have stashed in the car for when I'm waiting. A new hat for me, eventually.
