This dogwood I passed (with the lovely dark front edge behind it- it was much darker in person). It was almost in full bloom. Most other dogwoods I've seen are just starting to bloom.

Ooh, pretty sock! Is this for you, Mom, or your mom? Or someone else's mom?
And the dogwood is glorious. My lilacs are just starting to produce leaves. We're way behind :( But there are crocuses (mostly gone now), daffodils (at their height), and a few grape hyacinth peeking out from the mulch in front of my house. There were tons of them, but then my landlady tore them out to lay plastic and mulch and plant daisies and black-eyed Susans and some ornamental grass. I love to see a few pop up through all that!
But it isn't really spring to me until the dandelions bloom, and there aren't any yet.
ANYWAY, hope you're running with MJ and hope all is well.
