It seems to be becoming

a habit of mine to post once a week. Trust me this is not my intention at all. I am still not sleeping well which makes the day most interesting. What little energy I do have is spent on the normal household/life things and if there is anything left I am working on something I can not really talk much about.
I have been picked up by an internet yarn store in CA. So basically I have to get my stuff together to ship to her. I will gladly give more details when I can.

I am done with the body of The Emerald Lady and am slowly working on one of the sleeves.

I do have something to show that I couldn't before. My Mommy's Bday was at the end of July and for her gift I spun her some yarn. I made her the Beachcomber from a few posts ago
Beachcomber
and this.
Chai yarn
this one is the most accurate in color, plus you can see the sparkly stuff

chai yarn
this one shows all of the reds mixed into the black

It is Chai from Enchanted Knoll Farms - 4 oz of 98% superwashed merino plus Angelina (that's the sparkly stuff and sari silk. I bought this way back with the idea of spinning it for my mom to entice her back into knitting. Well she got herself back into knitting so I just spun it for her. She loves it btw.

I miss just spinning or knitting and sewing. There is so much that I want to do but just do not have the energy to do any of it. Yes I have talked to the drs and well it could be: a) the chemo, b) the RA c) not getting enough sleep, d) asthma meds or e) a combo of them. I personally think it is the whole not being able to sleep but I have no idea why I can not stay asleep at night.

Your yarns have been picked up by an Internet store?!? That's exciting! Too bad you are too tired to gush. Maybe we should start an insomnia club.

Your yarn has been picked up? HOW EXCITING!!!!! I'm so thrilled for you. Eeeeeeee.

Heck, you have so much going on - post when ever you can and we'll be happy. I hope you are feeling better soon. I hate the "guess what's causing this" game - I go through it all the time when my blood sugars go out of whack, and I know how frustrating it is. :(

Congratulations on the success of your yarns! May the well-deserved sense of accomplishment carry over into feeling better as well. Hugs from here.
