This Time - Knitting = )

Well over here at house of worry, there has been knitting going on.

This is Hubby's second sock from hell. I am close to the end. I guess even difficult knitting is being kind to me these days. While I was knitting the foot I almost went to far before the heel. I caught myself on the last row of the last orange strip.

This is the scarf that I was making as a gift but well - I changed my mind (meaning no more patience for it) and now it will become a pillow. It was becoming to wide for a scarf and I really did not want to knit it anymore. You can see the YO's made a picture, but there are also purls in there that make more petals. I still have to block it.

I have been working on The Son's sweater but well it still looks like a black blob at this point.

I started socks for The Daughter. The yarn is Dancing from Knit Picks (where else). They are just simple 2 x 2 ribbing. I did learn a lesson though. Do not start the heel flap when I am not able to concentrate. I forgot to move the stitches and well there is a 4 stitch rib on one side. Oh well. My Daughter loves them and when I discovered the boo boo (which was after I grafted the toe - of course) and said I would have to redo the sock she threw a crying fit. She was cute getting all upset, so I told her that I would leave it and make the second one the same.

Well that is all of the knitting I have to show. I would have showed the Tiffany Mitts but well after I almost finished chart D I realized I messed up on the 2nd to last row of chart c and yes I frogged it back. I knitted about 5 rows of chart D. Maybe next time. Other then that we are just trying to get through the days. We have researched online about what is happening and well I have stopped. It is depressing. Now I know it is good to be informed but there is a point where too much information is a bad thing. When we know what it is then I will look more into it. Hubby's appointment is on Thursday.

Wow, you're getting a lot done!! :) I can't wait to see the sweater--if I remember right, you said it's a mini...scratch that--um, maybe I'll just not say, in case The Son reads blog? Well, I think I remember and I can't wait to see it! ;)

I have totally forgotten about the Tiffany Mitts for now, but maybe if I see yours, it will help motivate me. Hmmm? Looking forward to pics.

I also have not made much Tiffany progress and I am a little ashamed, with how quickly they were working up...Your knitting looks great...quick question about toe up...I am knitting my first toe up, and how do you know when to start the heel (its for my dad, men's size 12, 11 3/4" from heel to toe)so obviously I cannot try it on...Thanks, and also, lots of good thoughts and prayers to you and Hubby for Thursday!
