I have been spinning up a storm over here and I have spun most of my roving stash (which was teeny tiny anyway) There is more on its way and more to be ordered.
I spun up Hearts Afire.
95% BFL
5% icicle
3.1 oz
Before
Now it is 192 yards of mostly fingering weight
I also spun up Mermaid from Enchanted Knoll Farm
100% merino
4 oz
Before
After 99 yards of worsted weight squishy-ness
This one is my favorite so far.
Here is the reason behind the hanks (and knowing how much yarn I have made)
Hand made by a friend of my mothers who is a great wood worker. All he had to do was look at the picture and in less then an hour (!!!!!!) it was done. It is nicely made and I am so loving it.
I finished Mindless John B socks. I finished them on saturday night.
I enjoyed the yarn (Claudia's Hand Painted Short sport in colorway John B) and I liked the colors in the hank but once I started knitting it up I wasn't thrilled as much. I have other colors on my wish list and these sock are in a new home being enjoyed
Snickers and what the Easter Bunny brought her
The flash makes her look like she is possessed =)

Wow, you've been busy!! Love the new swift.
Wow, those yarns are gorgeous. I am always so impressed by anyone who can spin their own yarn. I bet you have some wonderful knits planned for the new yarns.
SOOOOO JEALOUS of the swift!!! Is there a pattern for that...I might be able to coerce my dad into making one for me...hmmmmmm
Wow--you have been busy! How fun!
Beautiful beautiful yarns! They are looking fantastic, great job!
The Mermaid is gaw-jus! Let's hope my little contribution comes through today so you can get more fiber to spin.
Lovely yarns! I hope more roving arrives soon - I can't wait to see what you've got. (Mild roving envy here.) And Snickers has a duck-duck! (That's what they are called in our house. Baron, the two year old lab, adores his. It's the one stuffed toy he won't gut.)
