A new craft

Well for my birthday (Thank You Auntie) I indulged in supplies for a new craft. Tatting. Today I finally got time to try it out. 

So the first try. Horrible.(that would be the tiny yellow thing) second was smoother (that's the teal)

Then life got in the way , but I was also stuck so seemed like a good place to stop. 

These were done with a shuttle, I also bought "tatting needles". Basically same result just different way of doing it. I'm going to try that next time. I figure between the three books I should have a chance. Plus there's always you tube ;)

New travel knitting

Between music lessons and sports I get time here and there for some knitting. Travel knitting has to be kinda easy but not so easy that it is boring. 

I also had this yarn, it's the last yarn I had my mom pick, so it's about time to work on it. So here it is

I took this picture at music lessons. The light is harsh here. Hopefully the sun comes out and I'll get a better picture 

Strange but it worked

I am posting this just because it was crazy and it worked

So Monday's are crazy here: 3 kids, 2 schools and the three of them needing to be driven in early.  Then there is laundry and speech.  Monday's start early and coffee is needed very much on my part. 

This morning my Keurig decided to go on the fritz. It was not a good morning. When I finally got home from all thee crazy,about noontime, I googled and tried almost everything there was. Then I found a website that had many visits and reviews. It said to unplug and turn it over and burp it like a baby. Strange but there were more than a hundred people saying that it worked for them. 

It worked. Hubby and I were very surprised. 

(To Me Anyway) It's officially spring

Giraffe Boy is playing baseball and my Drama Girl is playing softball (on two teams school and Little League). 

Time to get my tushie in gear

No more excuses. February and March were tough months to run. Ice or sub zero (with wind chill) it was really hard. I did get a run in here or there but nothing consistent. 

This is me taking back. 

Have Some Pi

So my Pi socks are done! Finished them last night. Socks go pretty fast on thick yarn.
