Homemade butter

Take half pint jar add 1/2 cup heavy cream seal jar and hand off to children to shake shake and shake again. You'll get buttermilk and butter. Season with salt and try not to eat it all. So so so much better the store bought

Very clever. You limit the animal fat, though, right?

And I never made that in grade school! How come Mom did and I never did??
