And we have a sock. Started three years ago for my son D. Thankfully they are top down so I just lengthened the foot. The boy's foot is a size and a half bigger then mine and he is close to the same height. He is only 12! Anyway. I moved the normal gusset decreases to the bottom of the foot so the sock looks weird off the foot but do to knitting magic fits perfectly.

Only one sock done?? Love the colors. They're sorta New York State blue and yellowish-orangey.
I can't believe that he has such big feet and is almost as tall as you are! Wow. Definitely has your dad's genes, huh?
